It’s a cold wintry day here in Madison! We’re in the midst of a big winter storm warning and are expected to get up to 8 inches of snow tonight. I’m cozied up on the couch watching the Hulu Fyre Festival documentary (have you seen it?!) and finally spending a night in after being out and about a lot the last week.
In case you need some cozy inspo (or just want to remember what things looked like without a foot of snow on the ground) I’m sharing an easy outfit featuring a few of my go-to pieces and a few extra fun bits. Are you even a blogger if you don’t do a photo shoot with wide-brimmed hat?
This sweater is one of my all time favorite vintage finds. I found it in Dublin (their thrift stores are so good!) and it’s vintage Escada. It’s so cozy, not too itchy, and you still feel blinged out since the pattern is entirely made of sequins. It’s one of a kind pieces like this that make the hunt for vintage totally worth.
A few staples I want to call out, too: I’m wearing my favorite J Brand jeans here and the Vince boots I literally wear every day. It’s getting to be that time of year where you stop worrying about being cute because you just want to be warm (the high on Friday is 3 degrees ????) so it’s nice to have a few reliable pieces to stay cozy in without looking like a schlump.
