Jeans by J Brand (old), Sweater from J Crew (old), Trench from Anthropologie, Mules from Target (under $30), Vintage Wicker Bag
With Thanksgiving around the corner, I’m sharing a piece I’ve been obsessed with all fall that would also make a perfect holiday outfit. Whether you’re spending it in the cold like me (I’m heading home to Chicago) or somewhere a bit warmer (jealous!), this sleeveless trench from Anthropologie is a festive addition to your Turkey Day wardrobe.
I love the rust red color and it’s a super soft faux suede so it’s nice and cozy. And the best part is how versatile it is! I’ll be wearing it as outwear this weekend since it’ll be in the 40’s, but it’s perfect as a dress with a slip underneath, too. I bought it on super-sale for about $50 and I’ve been able to wear it so many different ways that it’s definitely been worth it. Our seasons are so unpredictable here in the Midwest (will it be snowing or 70 tomorrow?) so it’s really helpful to have pieces I can grab regardless of the weather.
The only bummer about sharing this trench is that I literally can’t find it on the internet anywhere. I got it on double-sale in late September and thought it was weird that a fall piece was already marked down so much. Not sure what the deal is with it, but I’ll keep my eyes peeled for it! I also found a couple super affordable versions that are similar, if you’re looking: this $18 version from SHEIN and a plus-size version under $25 available from Target.
Check out some of my other recent style posts: an all-vintage look for autumn from a fun shoot in Chicago, my favorite second-hand looks from St. Vinny’s, and my favorite Target jumpsuit. And a big thanks to Andrew Natvig for taking my photos!
